Popular Marathi Star Sara Shrawan Arrested In Extortion Case Of Rs 15 Lakh

Sara Shrawan who acted in films like Rang He Premache Rangeele was arrested by Pune police from Lower Parel in Mumbai in relation to a 15 lakh extortion case. According to Police Sara Shrawan was trying to extort money from her co-actor Subhash Yadav for a video clip where the actor is seen saying sorry for molesting a woman. Sara Shrawan is the fourth to be arrested in connection to this case.

A co-star filed a molestation case against budding actor Subhash Yadav who later approached the police saying that Sara Shrawan was blackmailing him for Rs 15 lakh. The case was related to a video where Subhash Yadav was seen making an apology to woman for the act.

Sara Shrawan who is also known as Sara Sonawane is well-known Marathi actress and dancer who had acted in many television serials in Marathi language. Sara Shrawan made her acting debut in a commercial play ‘Jalu Bai Halu’ in 2011 which was directed by Santosh Pawar. The actress, since then has done number of Marathi serials like Bhagyalakshm, Pinjra, Tu Tithe Mi, Eka Peksha Ek and Devyani. Sara Shrawan is best known for her role in Baghtoi Rikshawala which was released in 2008.
